Privacy

This page explains what information basefoundry.ca collects, why, and what happens to it. We don’t use cookies, tracking or advertising. The only personal information we collect is what you type into the booking form or send us yourself.

What we collect

When you book a free assessment, we ask for your name and phone number, and you can add an email address, your business name and a note about what you’d like to talk about. If you call or email us, we have whatever you tell us in that call or message.

We use this information to arrange your call, phone you at the time you picked and reply to you. We don’t add you to a mailing list, and we don’t sell or rent your information or share it with anyone for their marketing.

Cookies and tracking

The site doesn’t put cookies on your device, and it has no advertising or tracking scripts. We count visits in a way that doesn’t use cookies or identify you.

The checklists in some of our guides remember your ticks in your own browser, so they’re still there next time. That information stays on your device and is never sent to us.

Because we don’t track visitors across websites, a browser’s “Do Not Track” setting doesn’t change anything here.

Who else sees it

We use a small number of service providers for hosting, security and email. They only handle what they need to provide those services, and some of them may process information outside Canada, including in the United States.

How long we keep it

We keep booking details for up to 12 months after your call and then delete them. Only our team can see them, and we protect them with safeguards suited to the information.

Your choices

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted, and you can cancel a booking at any time on the booking page. Amarjot Gill is responsible for privacy at Base Foundry. Email amarjot@basefoundry.ca and we’ll reply within one business day and deal with your request within 30 days.

If you’re not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
